Over a billion people across the world lack access to clean water and safely managed sanitation.
The climate emergency threatens to make this situation even worse. The Government must restore the 0.7% aid target to combat the effects of climate change.
It was great to speak in my friend Navendu Mishra MP‘s debate to mark #WorldWaterDay2021.
As well as supporting access to water and sanitation abroad, we must bring our water back into public ownership.
